When do I use it in my routine?
After cleansing (and toner, if you use one), before moisturiser. Morning and night. Press 2–3 drops into skin that's still slightly damp, hyaluronic acid pulls water into the skin, so giving it water to pull works better than applying to a dry face. Follow with moisturiser to seal it in, and SPF in the morning.
Can I use it with my other products?
Yes, it's the easy one. Hyaluronic acid plays nicely with retinol, vitamin C, niacinamide, exfoliating acids and the Give It A Rest eye cream. If you use an active serum, apply this one first while skin is damp, then the active, then moisturiser.
Does it replace my moisturiser?
No. A hyaluronic serum draws water in; a moisturiser keeps it there. Used on its own in dry air it can leave skin feeling tighter, not softer, which is why the How To says to follow with moisturiser. Plump Me Pretty is the natural pairing.
What else is in it besides hyaluronic acid?
Cactus stem extract for hydration and barrier support, bitter cherry flower extract and sophora root for soothing, a probiotic-style lactobacillus ferment, trehalose and glycerin for extra water-binding, and allantoin and betaine to calm.
Does it contain alcohol?
It contains a small amount of isopropyl alcohol.
Is it fragranced?
Yes, it has a light flavour-style scent matching the variant you choose.
Will it pill under makeup or SPF?
It shouldn't if you use 2–3 drops and let it absorb for a minute before the next layer. Pilling on gel serums almost always comes from using too much or layering too fast.
Does it contain any allergens?
Soy, the ferment is a soymilk-based ingredient. Also castor-derived solubiliser. The fragrance allergens will depend on the flavour; check the ingredients for your variant.
